The Turkish Plastics industry is the 9th fast growing sector in 22 main industry in our country now. Particularly the growth which increased rapidly after 2002, has reached a high level of %15,6 during 2003 and continued at the first six month of 2004 as 15%. Furthermore at the six month of this year, export increase rises to 47% dramatically compared with 2003.Particularly the expectation of the annual plastic consumption per one person (apprx 44 kg) will reach to the consumption of Europe (per one person 100 kg) by means of integration with Europe Union. This situation signs taking place fast developments in the plastics sector in a near future.
IPAF is in the way to be the best among the overall fair in the Middle East and Balkans
Because Turkey is a passing region to join Asia and Europe continents and also has a high development level in manufacturing plastic machinery and equipments, a part of plastic product manufacturers in the Middle East, North Africa and old socialist bloc countries will be able to find an opportunity in meeting their all requirements from Turkey.
